LUDI, Johann Nicolaus. Shoemaker. Son of Daniel Ludi, of Thaleischweiler. Married there, 30.XI.1756, Anna Elisabetha, daughter of Nicolaus Grob (q.v.). Leave for Pennsylvania 1765. Issue: (1) Philipp Jacob, b. 10.V.1760; (2) Nicolaus Peter, b. 22.VIII.1762; (3) Jakob Peter, b. 8.III. 1765. Nicklaus Ludi arrived on the ship Chance, 9 Sept. 1765 (S-H I, 705).
