LAMPERT, Baltzer (Balthasar). The archives of the village of Mörzheim, in the Palatinate, possesses a document (A-ll) containing the power of attorney given by Baltzer Lampert of Skeepack (Schipbach, Skippack), Philadelphia (now Montgomery) Co., to Philipp Ulrich, of the town of Philadelphia, whom he appointed his attorney for the receipt of outstanding money (especially deriving from the inheritance of said Lam- pcrt’s father, Johann Lampert, in the village of Mörzheim. The document was dated 22 Oct. 1739. Georg Baltzer Lampert was born at Mörzheim, 14 Feb. 1718, as the son of Johannes and Abelonia (Apollonia) Lampert. Baltzer Lampert arrived on the ship Davy, 25 Oct. 1738 (S-H I, 234, 235, 236). Link |
