Issue of Ist marriage: (1) Anna Margaretha, b. 6.VIII. 17-23, married at Billigheim, 13.X.1748, Heinrich Himmler (q.v.); (2) Anna Barbara, b. 30.VI.1725, confirmed 1736; (3) Catharina Elisabeth, confirmed 1736; (4) Maria Catharina, confirmed 1743; (5) Anna Maria, confirmed 1745; (6) Johann Valentin, confirmed 1748. The confirmations all took place at Billigheim. The dates of birth for nos. 3-6 were not noted in the church registers, but there is little doubt they were brother and sisters to nos. 1-2. After the names of the children the word America was written. Johan Jörg Kress arrived on the ship Peggy, 16 Oct. 1754 (S-H I, 638, 639, 641). Link |
