Married there, 24.XI.1738, Maria Magdalena, daughter of Bernhardt Dreher, shoemaker, Have left for Penn¬sylvania. Issue: Johann Nicolaus, born at Thaleischweiler, 26.VII.1739. Jürgen Hert, aged 26, arrived on the ship Friendship, 12 Oct. 1741 (S-H I, 307, 308, 309); Jacob Hert, aged 20, came on the same ship. George Herdt, of Douglass Twp., Berks Co., was taxed in 1768 (PA-3, XVIII, 122), and George Hert, of Philadelphia, was taxed in 1769 (PA-3, XIV, 161). Link |
