BRANDSTETTER, Johann Friedrich. A soldier (grenadier) at Pirmasens. Born at Fröschen, 23.XI.1724. Son of the carpenter Michael Brandstetter and of Maria Catharina. Married at Thaleischweiler, 18.11. 1749, Anna Barbara, daughter of Peter Mag from Krickenbach, Palatinate. These left for Pennsylvania 1764 14 May. Issue (born at Fröschen) : (1) Anna Esther, b. 2.II.1754; (2) Johann Friedrich, b. 18.X.1755; (3) Doro¬thea Barbara, b. 26.111.1757; (4) Johann Michael, b. 26.IV.1759; (5) Johannes, b. 19.IX.1761; (6) Maria Elisabetha, b. 27.VII.1763. Friedrich Brandstetter arrived on the ship Sarah, 20 Sept. 1764 (S-H I, 691).
