Johann Peter Appel arrived on the pink (a type of ship) John and William, 17 Oct. 1732 (S-LI I, 102, 105, 106). Peter Apple of Northumberland Co. had 40 acres surveyed, 7 Sept. 1789 (PA-3, XXV, 58), and 50 acres surveyed, 15 Feb. 1798 (PA-3, XXV, 62). Peter of Northumberland may have been of a later generation than the Peter who came from Billigheim in 1732. Link |
