[Below is a list of emigrants from the Duchy of Zweibrücken in the year 1709. There is no proof that any of these persons settled in Pennsylvania. The years 1709-11 inclusive witnessed a great movement of Palatines to England and America, many of them making their homes in the Mohawk Valley of New York.]
BOESSHAAR, Jacob. A cooper, from the town of Zweibrücken. Dr. Krebs notes: “Of Jacob Boesshar the birth of one child is mentioned in the churchbook of Kocherthal”.
