DÜRRWÄCHTER, Johann Theobald. Citizen of Freckenfeld. Married Maria Catharina Geiger. Issue (born at Freckenfeld) : (1) Johann Ludwig, bap. 28.X.1728; Gone away 1752; (2) Maria Margaretha, bap. 20.11.1732; (3) Maria Susanna, bap. 13.III.1735. (4) Johann Jacob, b. 22. XII.1738; (5) Johannes, 1. 18.II.1742; (6) Eva Margaretha, b. 25.X. 1744, (7) Catharina Margaretha, b. 23.VI.1747. After the names of nos. 2-6 appears the notation: Left for the New Country 1752. The church registers do not indicate if the parents also left for America, but it is very probable that they emigrated also. The famhy disappears from the registers in 1752. John Derwechter, of Manheim Twp. York Co., was listed in 1779 and at other times (PA-3, XXI, 21, 211 398)
