Nicholas Velthuysen, or Langvelthuysen, from Lübeck, was in New Amsterdam in 1650 or earlier. He was married twice. His first wife Janneke Willems died in April, 1659, leaving children. In June, of the same year, he married Aeltje Lubberts, widow of one Bickers. Five months later they separated. |
