Oben (Abel) Reddenhuisen [Reddinhaus], from the Principality of Waldeck, married December 28, 1641, in New Amsterdam, Geertie Nannincks, widow of Van Tjerck Hendricskszen. They had children. As late as 1686 his wife is mentioned in the records (Geertruy Riddenhar). He died before August 2, 1644, when his widow sold her house in New Amsterdam, at the corner of the East River and the present Broad St. |
